Here at Blubel, community is at the very heart of everything we do: not only in cycling, but also what’s on our doorstep! We feel lucky that we can jump on our bikes and head off to a beautiful park for an impromptu picnic, cycle to the nearby speciality coffee house for the most amazing americano or a cheeky half at our much-loved local. So to celebrate all things local we have launched our #LocalCyclist campaign, where we will be showcasing our choice independent cafes, shops and restaurants alongside great green spaces. We also want to discover your favourite places to cycle to, so please let us know your top picks on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Remember to use #LocalCyclist!

Whether it’s just a day out somewhere new, discovering a city by bicycle or a bike vacation, I love the feeling of freedom and empowerment of travelling by bike.
Great cycling ride through the numerous parks in South London – Brockley, Dulwich and Peckham with beautiful and quirky sights.
We love to explore new cities – and not by following hoards of tourists, but by finding our own adventures and unusual local sights that make that city unlike any other. This week, we thought it would be interesting to find out what it’s like for new visitors to London: Blubel’s Alexia and Floris tell us about their experience on bicycles.
Springtime in London! Days are getting longer, the air is fresh and full of anticipation for the year ahead, and I feel like I’m waking up from a winter of hibernation. Time to get on that saddle!
